CodeFest is a week-long virtual hackathon focused on End-of-Year Innovation, AI, and Blockchain technologies. It's designed as a celebration of the year's achievements while building the technologies that will define 2026.
All university students from ANY institution worldwide and high school students (16+) are welcome! You don't need to be a tech major - we welcome students from all disciplines and all skill levels.
No prior experience required! We'll provide comprehensive resources, tutorials, and mentorship to help you get started. Many successful projects come from teams learning these cutting-edge technologies during the hackathon.
No! CodeFest is completely free for all participants. We are committed to making technology accessible and ending the year with inclusive innovation for everyone.
CodeFest celebrates your coding achievements from 2025 while building the technologies of tomorrow! It's the perfect way to end the year on a high note, network with fellow innovators, and start 2026 with breakthrough projects in your portfolio.
You can register solo or with a team of up to 4 members. Solo participants can join our Discord team formation channels to connect with others. We encourage diverse teams and provide mentorship to support collaborative innovation.
Participants get access to mentors via Discord, workshops on AI and blockchain technologies, starter templates, API keys, comprehensive documentation, and 24/7 support. We also provide year-end reflection sessions and 2026 goal-setting workshops.
Projects are evaluated on innovation, technical implementation, future potential, presentation quality, and overall impact. Our panel of judges includes industry leaders specializing in AI, blockchain, and emerging technologies.
